A Weekend in Fairfield

(21 & UP)

When you’re ready for a weekend out in Fairfield, we have a few ideas on places to go whether you’re looking to explore Fairfield “like a local” or be a tourist in your own town! Here’s a starting plan for your fun weekend visiting favorite local businesses. If you’re looking for a fun staycation, start on Friday by checking into the Victorian on Main, a beautiful bed and breakfast located in an 1895 Queen Ann Victorian home. Once you’ve toured this beautiful property and dropped off your bags in one of their charming rooms, you can go grab appetizers and a cocktail at Jovalou – don’t leave without trying their famous boudin wontons! Then take a walk over to our local Elks Lodge for a delicious dinner and late-night drinks.

Wake up Saturday and grab breakfast at the Inn or sleep in and grab brunch at K&M Diner or Barbwire. During the day, you have many different options to choose from – play a round of golf, go shopping uptown at our boutique shops, take a stroll at Atkinson Forest or Leo French park. If you need an afternoon pick me up, stop by Bold Goat for one of their delicious coffees or teas. For dinner, try La Fuente or El Mexicano for drinks and Mexican cuisine. You can end the night by catching some live music or playing pool at JW Saloon.

Before ending your weekend, grab some breakfast at Five Brothers where you can get just about any breakfast food you can think of. Hope you enjoyed your weekend out in Fairfield!
