Start your family weekend by booking yourself a place in town – we have a hotel, a bed and breakfast and a couple airbnbs that families will enjoy. The Victorian on Main, our bed and breakfast, is a restored 1895 Queen Ann Victorian house on Main Street where guests will immediately feel at home.

Fairfield offers a variety of restaurants. Between local pizza joints, Mexican, Chinese, diners and homemade cooking, you can be sure everyone in the family can find something to eat.
Looking to get outdoors with the family? Fairfield has multiple parks, including Leo French Park, which has baseball diamonds, basketball court, playgrounds, picnic shelters and an Olympic size swimming pool. It has a beautiful walking trail and great scenery for family pictures.

If you’re interested in history and learning more about the area, the Wayne County Historical Society, runs several historical sites including the Hanna House, Early History Museum and the Olive Branch Schoolhouse. Our sporting fans won’t be disappointed as our high school has several State ranked teams. Depending on the time of the year, you can catch high school games that include: football, volleyball, cross country, golf, basketball, wrestling, softball, baseball, tennis, track and field, swimming and cheerleading.
