Depending on what season you come to town, Fairfield has a lot of exciting events you can attend. Make sure to check out event calendar to see what’s happening in town or out at Willow Creek.
One of our most popular destinations is the Shreves Pumpkin Patch. Shreves is family owned and operated and has a variety of activities: pumpkin patch, hayrides, corn pit, play equipment for kids, corn maze, western inflatable, fall decorations, food and more!

If you’re here for fall, you can’t miss the Fairfield Fall Fun Fest. The Fall Fun Fest is a four-day festival in September packed with fun. With music, parades, car show, rides, food, crafts, fishing competition, pageants and much more, the whole family will have a great time!

The winter season is a magical time in Fairfield. Make sure to drive through the Festival of Lights in Leo French Park during December and see the many light displays and visit with Santa at the North Pole!

Make sure to take a walk around our courthouse and see all the Christmas trees and light posts that local groups and individuals have decorated. Our town Christmas parade is usually the first Saturday in December and draws a big, festive crowd.

In the summer, you can enjoy our Wayne County Fair. Enjoy all the events the fair puts on, including local’s favorites – the rodeo, derby and Lucas Oil Tractor Pull. And again, don’t forget about all our outdoor recreation activities Fairfield offers.
